Darryl P. DiSanto, Sr. – Owner

As a respected retired police officer with strong and diverse experience in law enforcement, Darryl DiSanto has proven his ability to perform in emergency encounters as both an officer and field supervisor. He is a supportive and articulate leader and a thorough interviewer, interrogator, negotiator, and communicator. Darryl is a solid teacher with 18 years as assistant range master and firearms instructor, three years as the SWAT team training sergeant, eight years as a Baton and ASP instructor, and three years as a Patrol Field Training Officer. He organized canine demonstrations for public and private sectors.

In addition to his career in law enforcement, Darryl was on the staff at Adlerhorst Kennels in Riverside, CA, for 12 years, first as an assistant instructor and then as a lead instructor for protection- and detection-trained police service dogs. The focus of the instruction he provided was on narcotics, explosives, incendiaries, and cadavers to police officers from seven western states.

Following two years as an instructor at the Orange County, CA, Sheriff Training Academy in canine narcotics detection re-certification, Darryl was hired as a Security and K9-detection Consultant to SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) Bio-solutions Division, San Diego, CA, in 2003.
